About This Quote

Change is uncomfortable, but it’s helpful! This statement is very true. We are constantly being bombarded with information that suggests that change is good for us. However, most of the time the changes are not good. It can be so hard to accept this fact.

When I was in high school, I remember my father constantly telling me how important it was to be a leader. He gave me so many books with great titles like "How To Be A Leader" and "How to Win Friends And Influence People". I have to admit that at the time, I was very proud of myself for taking on this huge responsibility.

However, as a teenager, I found it virtually impossible to be a leader or a person who was going to help others. In fact, I just felt like a failure because no matter what I did or how hard I tried, nothing seemed to work out for me.
